Mitchell EMC is an electric membership cooperative formed 89 years ago by members just like you who needed electric service. Cooperatives are owned by the members, or customers, who use them. Today, Mitchell EMC safely delivers reliable electricity to more than 15,200 residential and commercial members in Mitchell, Baker, Worth, Dougherty, and 10 surrounding counties. Mitchell EMC’s distribution system consists of over 4,470 miles of line over 400 square miles.
Equipment Bid

Mitchell EMC is offering vehicles and equipment for sale "as is" to the highest bidder. Interested bidders may view the items at the Camilla Office Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bid forms may be picked up at any Mitchell EMC district office or downloaded online at www.mitchellemc.com. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Camilla Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2026. Bid forms should include the bidder's contact information. Successful bidders will be notified by Friday, November 13, 2026, and all vehicles and equipment must be picked up and paid for by Friday, November 20, 2026.
